I made this bolero from pieces of yellow and gold fabrics , lined with gold shimmer orange silky fabric .  I think it represents me trying to piece together my thoughts  and life and trying to find the glimmers . The woman smiling represents the public face , when the private reality might be different . It was a struggle to make but I persevered doggedly and got there in the end . Was it worth it? You tell me .
